The New Man in my Life

Introducing Brandon Elwood Macon, born on Saturday, April 6th at 4:58am at 6 pounds, 11 ounces, and 19 1/2 inches. I gave birth to this little one after two days of trying to be induced during week 37 of my pregnancy due to a condition called Preeclamsia. I didn’t make it past 7 centimeters of dilation so a c-section was recommended. I was so tired that during my procedure, the doctors said I kept falling asleep and snoring. Best sleep I’ve had in months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is absolutely no manual that teaches you how to handle this amount of love. I stare at him all day long. I can’t stop kissing his cheeks, looking into those gorgeous eyes, or going through all that hair, etc. I mean he has completely stolen a part of my heart I couldn’t get back if I tried. He is so much more than I could have ever imagined. I’m enjoying every moment of being his mom and all he has taught me in the little bit of time he’s been in this world. I’m so thankful God has given me this opportunity. I decided to share my little peanut with you! Enjoy!
