Avalon/Glen Artney/Orange Grove Area
We woke up with an urge to photograph nature. We wanted to go somewhere new, but not far. To our surprise this beautiful park popped up in our search and was only 20 minutes away. It’s amazing what you can find right in your own back yard sometimes even though you have been living there for years. It’s called Patapsco Valley State Park Just driving through the long wooded, lush green, windy entrance had me excited about what this park had to offer. We parked and began our day. I don’t need to say much about this park. I will let the pics speak for themselves. Enjoy!

For those who aren’t climbers or for whatever reason are unable to hike due to the difficulty level of trails…this is one you need not worry about. Pretty much a long straight shot. Slightly up hill with a gem at the end.
