Those of you who know me, know that Christmas is my favorite holiday along with the 4th of July following closely behind. To combine the two is just magical! It’s not about the gifts for me, but about the season and the smells, the movies, the music, the people, the lights, etc. It literally takes me to another level every year! This was my first tree lighting ceremony and I was not disappointed! We ate at the “Crab Cake Cafe” which has easily become one of our favorite places to eat at the Harbor. Brandon had the Shrimp Crab Cake Sandwich and I had the Maryland Crab Cake Sandwich. We have NOT stopped talking about the food since! This is our second time eating there and you better believe we are going back. Unfortunately, the only location is at the National Harbor, but we won’t let that stop us. Well, here’s to many more tree lighting ceremonies to come.
